HMS Ambush (S120) is the second nuclear-powered fleet attack submarine built for the Royal Navy. She represents one of the most advanced hunter-killer submarines ever constructed, boasting a design intended for both coastal and deep-sea combat operations. Operating under the stealth-oriented motto "Hide and Seek", operating from the Naval Base Clyde (Faslane) in Scotland. Measuring 97 metres (318 feet) in length and displacing approximately 7,400 tonnes when submerged. She accommodates a crew of roughly 100 personnel. Powered by a Rolls-Royce PWR2 nuclear reactor, she requires no refuelling over her 25-year service life.
