Sandown-class Mine Countermeasures Vessel
Built by Vosper Thornycroft, at Woolston, Southampton and launched on 6 October 1990 and commissioned on 7 April 1992. Constructed with a glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) hulls.
She was part of the MCM3 Squadron, before decommissioning in 2001. She was then refitted for use as a training ship at the Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth and renamed Hindostan.
