Broadsword-class Type 22 Batch 2 Frigate
HMS LONDON (F95) was originally named Bloodhound, but renamed London. Built by Yarrow Shipbuilders, launched on 27 October 1984 and commissioned on the 5 June 1987. She was the thirteenth ship in RN service to bear the name. In 1991 she was the Royal Navy Flagship during the First Gulf War. She was prematurely decommissioned on the 14 January 1999 and sold to the Romanian Navy 4 years later, where she was renamed Regina Maria.
